Place of Interest: Miri Crocodile Farm

Sounded kinda normal.
Well, it is. Hehe. It's my family day outing :)
GOAT YEAR BEBEH!! :D Mbbeekkkkk~~

My lil sister is on school holiday for a week and I just got my 4 days of Chinese New Year holidays too.
It's been a while I hangout with my sister talking non-sense and catching up with her school stuffs and others, so I decided to bring her to one of the places of interest in Miri. At least, my family time is productive during holidays.

Miri Crocodile Farm or Miri Mini Zoo.

I think the last time I went there was like.. 15 years ago? Somewhere there. More or less. The entrance fee was RM10 for Malaysian back then.

Ancestors?
Entrance Fee Signage.

The zoo was small, of course with the name itself, there are so many crocodiles you can find there. Big size, small size. Mama crocos, Papa crocos, Grandpapa crocos as well. Even the kids of these crocos. It's fun to bring your love ones to enjoy a day out to this kind of place rather than to a shopping mall.

Fed-up by searching a parking lot for you, cursing because of people's driving manners, wasting time in a mall. Why don't bring them see the nature, right?
A trademark for you to capture memories. :)

You can search their website here: www.miricrocodilefarm.com

Baby goats :)
It is the first and the largest crocodile farm in Northern Region of Sarawak.
(I bet Mirians doesn't know about this. Haha.. Miri People, be proud!!)
Open daily from 9 am - 6 pm, with entrance fee as follows:
Malaysian (Adult) RM 18.00
Malaysian (Children 3 - 11 years old) RM 9.00
Non-Malaysian (Adult) RM 25.00
Non-Malaysian (Children 3 - 11 years) RM 15.00

Location-wise is at Kuala Baram. So you can just follow the Kuala Baram road, coastal side and

you'll pass by some seafood market on your roadside, after for quite some time
you'l see signage of the Farm. You're on the right path. Just follow patiently :)

Time passed by and changes happened. LOL.

Crocodiles, horses, snakes, cats, birds like peacock, eagle, owls, there are also rabbits,
sun-bears, goats, lizards, turtles, fishes, civets, monkeys, dairy cows, ostriches.
Oh, I have almost listed it all. Not sure what else :) NO ZEBRA. OR GIRAFFE YET!

Common Porcupine

Pictures say it all. Have a look and comments. I have fun reading the facts and
histories about these animals. It's worth knowing and keeping the knowledge.
My blogging talent
is decrease day by day; due to lack of reading and ideas.
So, just trying to put more efforts in this to make it better.
